Markers markers markers

 I’ve been wanting to get sum markers recently.. does anyone have any cheap-ish recommendations? X_X
my dream are prismacolour markers, but I just can’t find em anywhere anymore.

or maybe I’ll stop procrastinating and finally learn watercolours… nyehhhhh………..

I think I should put more in here, so I’m just gonna start COMPLAINING! 

how come I never show anyone at school my art but everyone and their mom has seen it?! It’s getting a little scary. Some food tech teacher I’ve never seen came up 2 me and said “you’re pretty creative aren’t you? Don’t you draw those… cat shaped people?” And I was all like “0_0???? WTF?!” I have no idea at all who this woman is! and no idea where she’s seen my art! My heart almost stopped in anxiety

it gets real bad when the seasonal art competitions roll around, so many randoms I’ve never met or talked to going “omg anouk! Are you joining the art competition?!” Like…… huh….. 
iI deliberately make sure not to join those competitions so people don’t judge my art. (Also because they hand out chocolate to the top 3 winners of each year group, and I despise chocolate) Maybe people are looking at my school doodles? But I fold up my paper so tiny? And they don’t look good at all? oh, whatever, it will always be a mystery. Speaking of school doodles, I might go post some on deviantart now cya! ^^

I got these really cool cheap markers off eBay a while ago for like £15; so you can always check there! ^^ Also I can soooooooo relate to the whole barely show my art to people, but everyone has somehow seen it thing, lol.

i usually don't use markers at all but i use artskills markers. not sure if they're very cheap, though :P also about the prismacolors, why is that? i swear, i've gone to like a million art stores and not ONCE have i seen prismacolor markers. i've seen prismacolor colored pencils, prismacolor paper, prismacolor watercolors.. but never the markers! i wonder if they even sell them anymore? the only times i've heard about them mentioned is in barachan's old art

One day craft stores be dammed I will get a batch of these prismacolor markers, I will trek through blizzards and deserts and earthquakes to get to them. If the 17 bucks in my Vinted balance lets me.

And also prismacolor pencils are such a scam! I’ve seen how they draw and you could literally get that same quality out of a 5 quid pack of crayola pencils at a fucken tescos

heh, good luck on that!

to be honest, i quite like prismacolors, they layer nicely and blend much better than other brands of colored pencils that i've had. but i feel like it may depend on what kind of prismacolor pencils since the children's ones are slightly worse quality i think, but i dunno. i usually don't work much with pencils (apart from sketches) anymore so eh :P i usually use them with artskills pencils too for some reason
